That is the quote I hear everytime I go home and visit my other dad.
My other "dad" was my long time neighbor. I have been knowing he and his family since I was six years old and our relationship is father and son like.
So what does he mean by that?
He means never close ties with a woman you are getting down with, even if you guys break up. If you end your sexual relationship, it is because she said so.
He also means that even if you move on to another woman, make sure you have your other woman on standby in case your relationship with new girl fizzles.
So I asked him supposed the woman is crazy and abusive?
"He maintains never quit on them because you never know."
He also means you can still be cool with a woman and ten years after the last "hit", you can still get some if you never quit on her and the opportunity presents itself.
So today, I make CJS's eddict an official MANLAW:
Never quit on a woman, make them quit you. The only time you quit on a woman is when you are MARRIED, engaged or in a serious relationship. And fellas you can quit on a woman when you are frankly tired of that conquest.

I think most men do this anyway because they are too weak to actually own the responsibility of their feelings and deal with the consequenses of expressing them. They take the bitch road of passive-aggression by simply making a woman mad enough at them, that the woman will sever ties, cuz they aren't man enough to do it themselves. So, this is just an excuse to perpetuate the laziness/weakness.
I don't think it's a weakness. Women are crazy.

Most women do reckless shyt to men to help "heal" from the process when they can't deal.

@ M-dubb: It sounds like the real problem is that you don't know how to f*ck with sane/mature women. LOL I don't know a single female that would do some childish sh*t like that over a simple breakup (or anything else, really), much less myself. I gotta disagree that it's the chicken route as well. I had a girl break up with me and then she STILL called and ask why I wasn't calling her. I find when you piss her off and make her leave then that tends to end it. No time that I confronted a woman ended well. I've had less problems openly disrespecting a grown man in public than with trying to amicably split with a woman.
I think this is the silliest thing to teach someone. Although, it is true that if you end things gracefully there could still be possible hook ups in the future. But, overall I think it's a trifeling concept to live by.

Despite the fact I beleive most of the contributors to this blog are Philistines (sp?). I am inclined to agree with this post.
My Dad lives by this MAN LAW and I live by it also. I'll put a ni**a on ice but I ain't leavin'.

Men make those rules but can't abide by them. The second a woman dumps them, they're acting psycho themselves. They're worse than women sometimes.
There is one thing I've seen a few times that I need to address...There are some visibly crazy women...then there are women who you find out are crazy...in this situation the latter are the ones you need to worry about. If you had known going in you would have avoided them. When you find out, for the saftey of yourself and personal belongings, you have to back away as slowly and safely as possible.
